About EMARA

Why EMARA

Thoughtful, individualized, rooted in long-term health.

EMARA was created from a belief that aesthetic medicine should be thoughtful, individualized, and rooted in long-term health.

The name itself reflects the foundation of the practice. It draws inspiration from Evelyn, meaning life and quiet strength, and Xiomara, meaning resilience and grace. It also traces back to the Arabic root “ʿammara,” meaning to build, maintain, cultivate, and help flourish.

These ideas shape every treatment recommendation at EMARA. Rather than chasing trends or dramatic transformations, the focus is on supporting healthy skin, preserving natural features, and creating results that feel balanced, refreshed, and authentic to each individual.

We believe aesthetics should be inclusive, medically responsible, and deeply personalized. Beauty is not one age, one skin tone, or one definition. Every treatment plan is designed around the person in front of us, with an emphasis on prevention, longevity, and confidence that lasts.

Meet Evelyn

Evelyn Fuentes, FNP-C

Evelyn Fuentes, FNP-C is a board-certified nurse practitioner with over a decade of clinical experience and has been practicing aesthetic medicine since 2016.

Her background spans critical care, wellness medicine, and advanced aesthetic treatments, providing a unique perspective on the many factors that influence aging, skin health, and overall well-being.

Known for her thoughtful approach and attention to detail, Evelyn believes aesthetic medicine should enhance rather than alter. Her goal is to help patients feel confident, refreshed, and like the best version of themselves while maintaining natural-looking results.

Evelyn is bilingual in English and Spanish and is committed to creating an inclusive environment where patients feel educated, supported, and empowered throughout their treatment journey.

My Approach

A broader view of beauty and biology.

Aging is influenced by more than lines and volume loss. Hormones, collagen production, inflammation, genetics, lifestyle, and environmental factors all play a role in how the face and skin change over time.

Because of my background in both wellness and aesthetic medicine, I take a broader view when evaluating patients and developing treatment plans. Every recommendation is made with consideration for both immediate concerns and long-term skin health.

Whether treating fine lines, pigmentation, volume loss, or overall skin quality, my goal is to create customized treatment plans that are safe, effective, and aligned with each patient’s individual goals.
